An EOR Easter Egg Hunt: A Surprising Discovery

Since we’re approaching the spring season, I thought it would be fun to share a little surprise from our latest research.

We kicked off our global market map for Employer of Record (EOR) firms expecting to find the 100 top companies tucked around the world. It felt a bit like an Easter egg hunt we thought we’d uncover a full basket.

But surprise! After combing through our research tools and applying a consistent lens, we identified only 65 standout EOR providers across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America

Even more interesting? Based on our analysis, the estimated average revenue of these 65 firms is around $118 million, totaling roughly $2billion USD. Their combined estimated funding is close to $3 billion USD showing that while the market is smaller than expected, it’s still well capitalized and rapidly evolving.

This unexpected finding gives us a clearer picture of the EOR market space leaner than expected, but full of powerful players. Like a good Easter egg hunt, the best surprises are the ones you didn’t see coming.
